Responding to the launch of the Change Britain campaign, Chuka Umunna MP, Chair of Vote Leave Watch, said:
“It is disappointing that this Vote Leave rehash makes no mention of the totemic promises of the Leave campaign, such as spending £350 million a week more on the NHS.
“Boris Johnson and his friends in Change Britain may think they can wriggle out of these pledges, but they can’t. Already, people are seeing that the promises made by Vote Leave were built on sand.
“The government must focus on negotiating a deal with the EU that preserves the best aspects of our membership, like our place in the Single Market, rather than being swayed by an organisation made up of campaigners who made promises they are now failing to deliver.”
