Commenting on the Budget today, Chuka Umunna MP, Chair of Vote Leave Watch, said:
“Vote Leave campaigners in Government promised to spend £350 million more a week on our NHS. The Chancellor in his budget refused even to give it this amount a year.
“Millions of people voted for Brexit in good faith to increase funding for our NHS. The Government’s refusal to do so is a kick in the teeth for those voters, and for everyone who depends on an NHS which has been starved of cash in recent years.
“If Brexit means Brexit, it must mean the £350m a week that Leave campaigners promised.”
